When comparing our Quote with others, keep in mind that we don't write "slam bam thank you ma'am" applications which are hard-coded to run only once and usually only by the programmer.  Instead, we produce scalable, structured code that can be run whenever needed by an end user from an attractive front-end OSV (Original Screen Version), CBI (Character Based Interface) or GUI (Graphical User Interface) screen.  Each product will include appropriate search capabilities with Hard-Copy option, ticker tape editor for text input fields, and "string of pearls" prompts so the user can limit the data to be retrieved if desired.  We also include a Review option so the user can watch the selection process and see how each record is populated.  And the screen can be run repeatedly to produce a variety of output.

We offer rates as low as $106.50 per hour, depending on the number of hours per month you are willing to commit to.  Our Support Maintenance Agreements are single page, one side, no fine print, no mumbo jumbo.

But why do I need an SMA?  Can't I just call when I want support?

Certainly - as long as you don't mind waiting longer and paying more.  No, we aren't punishing you for not signing an SMA.  Rather, we are rewarding those clients who are willing to make a commitment to our bottom line as well as theirs.  Let's look at both sides of this coin.  When you call WITH an SMA in place, 1) there is No Retainer Required, 2) your discount is already locked in along with both the Remote & Onsite Rates which were in effect at signing, 3) we already know your system login procedure, 4) we're already familiar with your software and database, and 5) we can begin helping immediately.  But when you call WITHOUT an SMA in place, 1) a Service Quote must be prepared for your signature, 2) a Retainer will be Required, 3) we will need full instructions regarding the system login procedure, 4) we may not yet be familiar with your software and database, and 5) we will not be able to begin helping until the Retainer is received.

Case in point:  The IT Manager for a client whose account had been dormant for 2 1/2 years called with an emergency.  He was on vacation in India when his company in NYC encountered an error while attempting to use non-existent fiscal period 13 when there should be only 12 periods.  The software failed to interpret a date as belonging to the first fiscal period of the new year.  That software was written by their former IT consultant whom they had tried to reach unsuccessfully for several days, but he was not answering his phone or returning their calls.  When the client's IT Manager finally called us, we answered on the second ring.

He asked if we could correct the glitch first then do the paperwork later.  That solution would have served only the client and left us holding the bag.  So we reminded him that we must receive a signed Service Authorization and a 50% Retainer before work could begin.  It took 3 hours before their CFO submitted those.  And in the past 2 1/2 years, they had since migrated to a new login with which we were unfamiliar.  But the IT Manager kept failing to provide all pertinent pieces of information needed for us to access the system successfully.  As a result, this client's end users suffered long and needless delays and frustration.

Remember the first question the instructor asked in Intro to Philosophy 101?  "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it fall, did it make a sound?"  You don't have to be there to know it made a sound.  And you don't have to see our Consultants in their District Offices, heads down, assaulting the keys, to know they are working diligently on your behalf.  Only results matter.
